Places are very clean and comfort. The hotel is huge with beautiful looks and decoration inside. Meals could serve in room or in their restaurant. We picked dinner in room and breakfast in restaurant. Both amazing. The restaurant looks so artistic & beautiful. The views from hot springs, room and the restaurant were great and felt good. The room felt clean and neat. They have free shuttle from hotel to Arima shopping streets (they called downtown) and Arima station. Tips, better to confirm the spot you want them to pick up back up in advance. For example, first spot they called 'parking lot'. Of course, we didn't know and tried to describe the spot we located, which took a while due to language barrier. Fyi, they have 3 spots to get on or off. Try go there earlier, drop off your luggage and visit Rokko Arima by taking the Ropeway ride. Beautiful natures. Interesting spots up to the mountain. Return to hotel for hot springs. Their hotel also connects with their sister hotel called Yugetsusanso. We can use their hot springs too. However, I like Korokan side better, the one we booked, Arima Onsen Gekkoen Korokan. The hot springs is bigger than the other side. Excellent hotel. I wish I stayed here for another night just for the hot springs and foods. Will definite return in future if I get another chance.

Amazing experience, especially the way the room service staff treats you. Our lovely service attendant, Suah, even left us a sweet goodbye note, partially written in Spanish (we're from Spain), which was such a thoughtful gesture. The onsens are excellent, although they lack the option to alternate between hot and cold water—it’s a shame this feature isn’t available in at least one of them. Also, while the building's facade facing the road has been recently painted and looks fantastic, the side facing the river—which is what guests see from their rooms—appears quite deteriorated. This unfortunately takes away some of the charm from the experience and makes the view feel a bit sad.

We had a traditional style room with dinner and breakfast served in the room, and with a private spa tub in the bathroom. The service during the meals was out of this world, and the food was varied and really high quality. As westerners, some of the food was a bit too exotic for us, but it was more than enough food anyway. The beef was really good. We experienced both one of the private spas and the natural public spa, and they were both wonderful. The spa tub in the room was also amazing, and it's such a treat to get right into a really hot bath straight from bed. With a wonderful view, no less. This was an exceptional experience and is truly recommended.

The service. For example, during breakfast, the coffee machine didn’t work. So, a waiter noting that I wanted a coffee, try for half hour make it operational again- he fixed the error message and clean it carefully. After 1/2 hour, he with a big smile handed me a warm cup of coffee. During dinner, I forgot to tell the waitress that I didn’t eat sugar. So, when I finish eating the main course, I left. Half hour later this waitress knock at my door handling me the desert. It was so nice!

The facility is a traditional Japanese Ryokan. Although my room was carpeted and with a bed, it was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and patient. in Japanese, it’s called Omotenashi. Although I can speak some Japanese, the staff started and communicated in English with me. The highlights of the stay were 1, happy hour of free beer at the lobby. 2, Three Onsens with 5 pools and sauna I dipped in, as well as private bath I can make reservation.
